Perfect for a duvet insert
This is an excellent 75% goose down comforter. It is the best fill ratio I was able to find at this price range. The only negative of this comforter is the low 233 thread count which makes the exterior not quite as soft, however that is irrelevant if you are getting a soft duvet to put this in (which you should). If you are not planning to purchase a duvet I would look for a softer comforter with a higher thread count and synthetic filling because you will need to wash w/o a divet. That being said it does “break in” and become softer with use over the 1 day and night I’ve had it it’s softened up and become more comfortable on my skin, if you sleep with PJs on it won’t be an issue because this is still breathable and doesn’t get too hot. My cat loves this thing he sneaks into my room every chance he gets and curls up in it. Overall I’m very satisfied it’s not necessary to spend outrageous amounts of money on a comforter, this was in my price range and will be perfect with a softer duvet definitely worth the asking price you will be hard pressed to find a superior 75% down comforter in this price range.
