The Best Litter Box Design (non electric)
We have several cats and up until purchasing my first one of these, I had to hand scoop each box. That usually took 15-30 minutes depending on how much time you wanted to spend and how clean you wanted them. After developing a bulging disc in my neck and losing some feeling in my right arm in part because of cleaning liter boxes, I looked for something easier to use other than expensive automatic litter boxes. I found this roll type box and bought one. It worked so well that I ended up buying two more soon after. Having had them for a few years now, I’m buying one more so my cats have access to at least one box upstairs too. I mention all of this because these boxes helped immensely with my neck by eliminating my having to lean over and scoop day after day. What used to take 15-30 minutes (5 large open litter boxes), now takes 1 or 2 minutes, 3 tops! I’m very happy with them. The one very minor flaw I’ll mention is, a few angles or stress points could be thickened or reinforced to avoid the possibility of cracking over time and extended use. Tapping the bottom of the box after I roll it is standard for me. However my doing so was the cause of the aforementioned cracking in at least two of the boxes. With that said, they’re still very functional, have years of life still ahead of them, and are the best option for the price range. I’d recommend these to anyone with cats who dislike scooping liter every day as much as I did.
