Does as expected, hinges have small issues at first.
When i first opened the box, i checked out the hinges as i saw multiple reviews comment on them being stiff, broken, or otherwise not proper.
When i looked at mine, i couldn't open out the folding ends of either side. I slowly pushed open the right side (num pad) and it clicked and suddenly opened and closed very smoothly. The left side, when i finally pushed it enough…the hinge popped off. This is when i realized the edge clips weren't properly seated in the slide channels on the top and bottom of the middle and side pieces.
I was able to, with my fingers alone, re-seat the middle of the hinge on the pivot point top and bottom, then re-seat the sliders in the slide channels on top and bottom, small firm push, and the keyboard was in perfect operating order. Has maintained ever since, smooth and easy open and close.
