Recently changed to improve the fragrance
As so many reviewers have noted, this (otherwise great) litter had a HUGE problem of a terminally nasty fragrance. And I agreed with those other reviewers, putting up with the awful fragrance because the litter is excellent and the fragrance was mostly discernable right after use, and dissipated fairly quickly. It was still a gobsmackingly terrible odor, though.
HOWEVER, the boxes I have received the last two months seem to show a huge change by the manufacturer, vis-a-vis added fragrance. The odor is much less intense and has changed from a cheap bathroom deodorizer smell to something in between bubble gum and floral notes. I don't have words to describe what a big improvement this is.
